On the Yellowstone River Overlooking

If you’d like to venture a little further, we’re conveniently located close to some other Montana and Wyoming highlights . . .

Bozeman, Montana is a great small town, with a good vibe, historic walkable downtown, a community co-op and attractive smaller airport. Bozeman is a big draw for outdoor enthusiasts. It’s our favorite town to fly into when visiting us . . . an easy and (gorgeous!) hour and a half drive away . . . depending on how many times you stop to take photos.

Livingston, Montana is a very eclectic historic Montana town. It has some wonderful restaurants and history too . . . a beautiful one hour drive north through “Paradise Valley” (aptly named).

Chico Hot Springs Resort in Pray, Montana Situated in a lovely location in Paradise Valley just 30 minutes north is Chico Hot Springs Resort. A quintessential Montana destination, it’s a fantastic place for a special dinner and a soak in their large outdoor hot springs pool.

Cooke City, Montana – is a remote quirky frontier town on the other end of Lamar Valley . . . about an hour and a half away depending on the bison traffic in Yellowstone! The Loving Cup is our destination for a latte or lunch.

For longer day trips, check out

Grand Teton National Park and Jackson Hole, Wyoming – Jackson is ‘the next town south’, through Yellowstone, you’ll next come to the Tetons and then Jackson Hole . . . Amazing scenery the whole way!

Red Lodge, Montana – through Cooke City, Montana and over the breathtaking Beartooth Pass. Be sure to eat at our favorite local café when you get there – Café Regis.

Cody, Wyoming – a western flavored town with a great museum . . . and the drive over Chief Joseph Highway is absolutely spectacular.

It will definitely be hard to ‘fit it all in’ while you’re here!...but you won’t be bored.
